Safety first
Brake adjustment, pad replacement, hydraulic bleed
The brake is the most important safety component on a bike — and in hilly Zurich (Zürichberg, Käferberg, Uetliberg) it works hard. Rubbing, spongy or squealing brakes should be checked immediately. We come to you and fix it on the spot.
We work on every system: V-brake and cantilever, mechanical disc (Avid BB7, TRP Spyre) and hydraulic disc (Shimano mineral oil, SRAM/Magura DOT). We bring the right fluid and bleed kits.
What the brake service includes

Squealing often comes from glazed pads or contaminated rotors — we fix that by sanding and cleaning, not necessarily an expensive pad change.

What does a brake service cost in Zurich?
Front brake pads are CHF 39 incl. material, rear CHF 55. Adjustment from CHF 35, hydraulic bleed CHF 49 (front) / CHF 65 (rear). Fixed price upfront on WhatsApp — and in the service packages the adjustment is already included.
Why do my bike brakes squeal?
Usually glazed pads or a contaminated rotor/rim (oil, brake dust). Often sanding and cleaning is enough — cheaper than new pads. If pads are worn we replace them. We check on-site and tell you honestly what is needed.
Do you bleed hydraulic disc brakes on-site?
Yes — Shimano (mineral oil) and SRAM/Magura (DOT). We bring the right fluid and bleed kits, replace pads, shorten hoses and straighten warped rotors, all mobile at your door.
How do I know my pads need replacing?
Longer lever throw, weaker braking, metallic grinding, or pad thickness under ~1 mm. In hilly Zurich pads wear faster. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we estimate it.
Do you really come to my home?
Yes, we are mobile. We come to you by cargo bike: home, office or the station — usually 25–45 minutes in the city, 7 days a week.
